Welcome to Duncan Farms Thoroughbreds, LLC. We sincerely appreciate your interest in our farm and thoroughbred facility. We operate a 200 acre farm in east central Ohio. We specialize in raising high quality alfalfa hay for our own horses plus sell to several large equine operations.  Our family  has always been interested in genetics and and working with animals.  We have always enjoyed the process of producing the best genetics, showing, and competing with our horses and cattle.  Our history is one that includes many generations in agriculture. Daryl and Sally were each raised on family farms and learned the importance of a good work ethic and upstanding values.  Daryl's parents Charlie and Carol Duncan moved to Warsaw, Ohio in 1969 after not being able to have the opportunity to farm on Charlie's family farm. It was Charlie's dream to own this farm we operate today. With little money and a lot of  determination, he along with his family were able to become a successful entity  in  genetics, selling embryos and cattle worldwide while earning many  All-American awards.

Daryl married Sally in 1986 and  together raised three children on the family farm. They have many wonderful memories of breeding,  raising and exhibiting cattle at the local, state and national shows.

Sally has been involved in the horse industry for many years, raising quarter horses and involved in performance horses.   Daryl has been an  accomplished farrier for 20 years and is highly regarded with his work with horses.  Daryl vividly remembers as a young boy seeing  Secretariat at Clairborne Farms during a  Tour in 1978. There must have been a seed planted long ago, for his love of the thoroughbred.  In 2015, we bought our first Thoroughbred  mares. Our goal is to provide elite, high quality genetics along with the best care of our horses. By doing this, we can provide outstanding prospects to owners and trainers in Ohio.  For 2024 we will be standing five stallions, Dominus, Fort Larned, Mobil, Corfu and Air Strike.

We are very excited about the Ohio Accredited Program and all it offers to owners and breeders.    Our goal is to work with fellow breeders, owners and industry leaders to promote and increase awareness and value of the Ohio Thoroughbred.

Lastly, we acknowledge that none of this would possible without our Lord Jesus Christ. We thank him for  his many blessings to our family and farm.
